Northeast United FC had a gloomy day on the field, as they lost out to SC East Bengal. SCEB moved up two places in the points table after this win, which lands them in fifth place on league table, while NEUFC stayed third.
In the first game, SC East Bengal’s Not_Ankitgupta created many chances but failed to convert them, but in the latter part of the game, he dominated the NEUFC's Muffuburahni and scored three goals. Earlier in the match, Muffuburahni had scored a goal but it wasn't enough and the game ended with a 3-1 scoreline.
In-game 2, Northeast United FC represented by Emmadrox fired the first goal, however, Im_Beno7 playing for SC East Bengal scored the equaliser on the verge of full time. Game 2 turned out to be a cracker and ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
In the final game, Northeast United FC opened the account first by scoring a goal in the opening minutes. In reply, SCEB scored the equaliser in the second half and secured the three crucial points. Not_Ankitgupta scored four goals and was awarded as Hero of the match
