The duo started off fiery, beating NorthEast United, who eventually finished second in their opening day fixture of this eISL season. They went on to get a draw against the Blasters in the next game, but bounced back strongly in their next two games to get all three points against Jamshedpur FC and Odisha FC, before another draw halted their winning run. The duo went on to get another win against Chennaiyin FC, but FC Goa ended their winning run in Matchday 7 of the campaign, before another defeat at the hands of the Islanders made things worse. CJ & Sagnik got back on track, taking away wins in the final two clashes against ATK Mohun Bagan and East Bengal FC respectively. 

Bengaluru FC finished with 6 wins, 2 draws and 2 loses, earning 20 points and scoring a league high 80 goals in the process. The playoffs will see them face off against Hyderabad FC in a sure to be high on goals clash against Jenasid & Warsi.
