Jenasid & Warsi didn’t have the campaign they would’ve wanted but made it to the playoffs by turning their tides around right at the end.
The Hyderabad boys endured a topsy-turvy campaign throughout the league stage. Warsi & Jenasid started off their campaign, sharing points equally with Chennaiyin FC. Their next game handed them a breezy win against East Bengal FC, but faced a halt again as they drew with the Islanders in the next one. Their next two games saw them end up on the losing side of things as the two eventual table toppers FC Goa and NorthEast United handed them consecutive defeats. Despite taking away two consecutive draws against the Blasters and Odisha FC, they bounced back strongly to grab wins against Jamshedpur FC and ATK Mohun Bagan to etch their name in the playoffs.
Hyderabad FC will be in action in the first knockout clash against Bengaluru FC, in hopes of earning a spot in the last 4 stages of the competition.
