The battle of the semi-final contenders turned out to be a one-sided affair as the best of three game tie ended in a 2-0 win for NorthEast United FC. The Highlanders secured three crucial points with this win to move to fifth spot in the eISL table while Odisha FC remained in the ninth spot.

In the first game, DuggalTv-led Odisha FC started with two goals to Muffuburhani's one. However, NorthEast United FC’s player Muffuburhani managed to score a late goal to restore parity in the match. Game 1, ended in a 2-2 draw.

In-game 2, NorthEast United FC's Emaadrox created many chances but failed to convert them, but in the latter part of the game, he dominated the OFC'S Shubumbumtumtum and scored three goals. Earlier in the match, a goal came from Shubumbumtumtum had put Odisha FC in front but it wasn't enough and the game ended with a 3-1 scoreline in NorthEast United FC’s favour.

In co-op, the match result was no different from the second game. NEUFC defeated OFC 2-0 in the final game. OFC players looked helpless against NEUFC defense as they allowed just one shot on their goal.

Emaadrox scored five goals and was awarded as Hero of the match.
