Day 1 of eISL Match week 2 concluded in spectacular fashion, featuring impressive performances from the participating teams. The Gaurs secured a comfortable victory over Jamshedpur FC to take their points tally to six, while Mumbai City FC achieved their first eISL win this season. Additionally, the Highlanders put on a dominant performance against East Bengal FC, resulting in their and the season’s first clean sweep.

The first game between Jamshedpur FC and FC Goa saw the Gaurs emerge victorious on aggregate, credits to a standout performance by Vanshaj which saw him defeat Deekay 4-1. The co-op game saw both teams utilize the left-wing well. Although the first half ended goalless, FC Goa managed to secure the opener with Messi finding the net at the 82nd minute mark. The third game featured Arvind taking the lead for Jamshedpur FC, scoring the opening goal at the early stages of the game and then went on to add an impressive four more goals to the tally, leading his team to a convincing 5-1 victory over FC Goa.

Kerala Blasters FC faced off against Mumbai City FC in the second fixture of the day. The opening game was won by Shubham, from Kerala Blasters FC, defeating City's Saksham with a scoreline of 2-1. The following co-op game saw the e-Islanders Aditya and Saksham emerge victorious against the Manjappada boys with a comfortable 3-1 win. The third & final game witnessed Kerala Blasters FC's Lokmanyu and Mumbai City FC's newest recruit, Aditya Chadha, aka 'Krusher,' battling it out in a tightly contested 90 minutes. The Islanders scored the opening goal in the closing moments of the first half. However, the Blasters managed to equalize the score at the 78th-minute mark. Nevertheless, Aditya's efforts yielded one more goal, ultimately securing a 2-1 win, which marked Mumbai City FC's first victory in the eISL this season.

NorthEast United FC squared off against East Bengal FC in the third and final fixture of the day. The opening game saw NorthEast United FC's Saransh Jain take on East Bengal FC's Akshat. Saransh kicked off in exceptional form, scoring three goals for the Highlanders in the opening 20 minutes, leaving Akshat with a considerable deficit. Although Akshat managed to score a goal at the 30th minute mark, the match ended in a convincing 4-2 victory for NorthEast United FC. The co-op game was a closely contested affair, with both teams having their fair share of possession and scoring opportunities. However, the first 45 minutes of the game ended goalless. NorthEast United FC broke the deadlock at the 69th minute, but East Bengal FC's Shayantan and Akshat responded with an equalizer at the 79th minute mark. However, Emaad and Saransh, from the NorthEast United FC, came in clutch and secured the winning goal at the 91st minute, resulting in a 2-1 victory at the final whistle. The final game of the fixture featured East Bengal FC's Shayantan against NorthEast United FC's Emaad. Emaad initially trailed by one goal, but he managed to equalize the score at the 36th minute and secured another goal in the second half, resulting in NorthEast United FC's first full clean sweep of the eISL this season.
