Another two action-packed clashes took place in the eISL on Sunday. In the first encounter, Hyderabad FC earned a hard-fought draw with table toppers SC East Bengal while FC Goa narrowly beat Jamshedpur FC to keep them in the hunt for a top-four spot.
The results took FC Goa up the league table to fifth, going past Jamshedpur FC who dropped down to sixth. SC East Bengal and Hyderabad FC remained in their respective positions.
The first clash of the day was a draw between Hyderabad FC and SC East Bengal.
In game-1, AADIZEMA scored just before the end of the first half and took the lead. He doubled his advantage, with a great goal in the 70th minute. But a quick response from NOT_ANKITGUPTA got SCEB back in the game. However, AADDIZEMA sealed the victory with an amazing goal in the 83rd minute, and then scored his fourth goal of the game in stoppage time to kill the game.
Game-2 was won by IM_BENO7 of SC East Bengal. He scored the only goal of the game in the 35th minute with Ronaldo Nazario to get the victory, taking the match to the decider.
In the co-op game, Hyderabad FC scored in the 34th minute, however, SCEB got the equalizer late in the game to restore parity as they shared the spoils.
AADIZEMA scored four goals and was awarded the Hero of the match.
The second clash of the day ended with a FC Goa victory over Jamshedpur FC. Game-1 was a goalless draw between V–SHARMA10 & ARVINDMASS_.
Then, in game-2, AFNANAMEEN10 scored early but AKASH_ASH2499 got the equalizer in the 20th minute. AFNANAMEEN10 restored his one-goal advantage in the 40th minute with a great goal from Messi. But, AKASH_ASH2499 got another equalizer late in the second half to draw the game.
In the co-op match, FC Goa scored in the 62nd minute to take the lead and sealed their victory with a goal in the 78th minute.
AFNANAMEEN10 scored three goals and was declared the Hero of the Match to help the Gaurs record a comprehensive win against Jamshedpur FC.
