Matchday 15 of the eISL campaign saw three teams coming on top over their opponents comfortably to rise up the standings. Hyderabad FC got things off the mark with two wins in the 1st two games while the Highlanders and Bengaluru FC completed a clean sweep over their respective opponents.

Hyderabad FC vs Jamshedpur FC

Jenasid and Warsi combined to sink the Men of Steel in a contest that saw both teams bring on their fighting spirit. In the opening game, Arvind took the lead initially, but Jenasid bounced back strongly with two goals to come back and take the first one. The 2v2 game was a rollercoaster. Jamshedpur took the lead and then Hyderabad leveled it. The Men of Steel combined once again for a brilliant goal, which was eventually canceled out just six minutes from time. For the first time in the game, with just three minutes to go, Jenasid & Warsi combined like fire to bang in the goal that gave them the lead and write their name once again and take the tie. With the game already settled, the final game was more of a consolation win for Jamshedpur FC, with Deekay thumping Warsi by three goals to none.

Odisha FC vs NorthEast United FC

This tie saw complete dominance from the Highlanders, with Emaad and Saransh sinking Vagya and Nates by coming out on top in all three games. Emaad, who started the first game against Nates took complete control of the game by scoring thrice just in the first half. Nates returned with one early in the second half, but the game was put to bed with Emaad scoring the fourth and final one to put them ahead. The co-op game was once again one-sided domination from the NorthEast United representatives, with them combining for three goals in the opening half and scoring or conceding none later on to put them two up and give them the full three points. With Saran taking on Vagya in the final encounter, the latter rose to the occasion once again, putting two goals in, compared to Vagya’s zero to complete a clean sweep and all three points in the bag.

ATK Mohun Bagan vs Bengaluru FC

The tie saw the second consecutive clean sweep of the match, with CJ & Sagnik coming out on top over Vicky and Afnan in all three games. The tie started off with CJ dominating Vicky throughout the game, scoring once in the first half and chipping in four times in the second 45. Despite Vicky scoring one with five minutes to go, it was too late to think about any sort of a comeback in the game. The second game was a fiercely fought battle between the two sides in the opening 45. Just around the time the referee was about to blow the whistle for the break, the Bengaluru boys joined together for the first goal of the game with a well executed move. Afnan & Vicky had a few good chances, but the game went to CJ and Sagnik when they added two more to their tally in 70th and 85th minutes respectively to kill the opposition’s hopes of a comeback in the tie. The final game was equally balanced throughout the game with end to end football, but Sagnik’s goal early in the first half meant that him and his partner in crime CJ swept through the tie, taking all three games and the full points on offer.
